Here is the 1969 hubcap...original off my first RoadRunner that I bought new in 1969. Personally, I think they look great on the car but you don't see too many RoadRunners (really none) show cars with them. I'm glad I saved them. I can use them on my 1969 340S Fastback. Way better than dog dishes and painted wheels.
I do like the 69 style you have. I still think my 69 may have came with the ones I linked above. Two of those came the trunk of car. My 69 has a build date of 9/10/1968. Would that be an early year 1969? My car also has bucket seat interior with no head rests, also early 69, right? I also have a resto book that says these wheel covers where available 1967-to-1969. So, I guess without an actual pic of how the car came, it would be hard to pin down 100%?
