Andy. I have installed one a few years back within a custom aluminum stock looking tank in the stock mounting position. It works flawless and rather quiet. 1/2 aluminum line, 1000 Aero pump with correct filters both at the pump and inline just before the firewalls bottom where it turns upwards and towards the engine bay.
