I'm running an older Hughes Hydraulic flat-tappet, HE3844AL.

Specs are:
.535/.540 lift, 237/243 dur. @ .050", 286/290 adv. dur., 108 LSA

This is in a 360 motor (9.8 statis CR) in my M-body coupe. With a single plane Holley Strip Dominator, Dynamic 3800 converter, 3.91 gears the car went 13.13 @ 102 mph the one and only time I had it at the strip this past season - I thought this was a bit slow.

Prior to the track outing I went from Perfomer RPM intake to the single plane and lost a noticeable amount of low end torque...going back to the Perfomer RPM over the winter break and hoping to get into mid-12s once I do a pile more tuning, etc, etc.

Recommendation wise, I would not go bigger then anything like the Hughes SEH3642AL-8. You will probably like something a bit smaller with the 3200 stall.

I`d keep the intake and tune the ign. and carb fully and you might be surprised..........
