From what I've seen so far, the Stage V is about 2k more than Edelbrock and flows about the same?

2K more? I just bought stage V's. Edelbrock castings are $1940 from Summit, Stage V castings were $2100.

Which ever way you ask about the steam holes in the deck. I think Edelbrock and Stage V come with them, I don't think Indy does. I don't think Indy blocks have the steam holes either. MP blocks do and KB does but they move them so they do not interfere with the sleeve flange. Stage V will put the holes in the right spot for a KB block if you tell them when ordered.
