Neither is the problem! I have the same issue since doing my intake pan, It only has air in it. My truck didn't do it until I done the intake. Now it does. I need to get the air out as well. And I haven't lost a drop of coolant so I know it's not leaking.
well i just had my heater core replaced because it was leaking and doing the same exact thing...
Well mine isn't leaking and it makes the same sound. Didn't make that sound until I fixed the intake gasket,
