Take it from one who has a garage full of parts made obsolete by later engine designs, go straight to a Generation 3 Hemi and don't look back. That engine goes 1 hp per pound very easily. The iron V10 is long and heavy and would work much better under the hood of a 1950 Chrysler New Yorker.
