I have zero experience with water meth injection. But, something comes to mind. I have a 13.2:1 compression engine that runs fine on 112 octane. With water meth would this engine survive on pump gas. What is the deciding factor as to when the injection turns on. With boost I guess it is just a switch but, what would make the determination on a NA engine?
