Hey Nacho. Do you mean a lock-up torque converter in a straight 3 spd. 727? If so, yes, for a few years Ma offered a hydraulically operated lock-up converter. My '78 Cordoba with 400 had one. Unfortunately, they were troublesome, and may were bypassed at their feed passage in the valve body. A good idea, but one better activated with more modern electronics than were available at the time.
