I figure a 719 horse motor should be able to run mid 9's in a 3200 pound car at 140+.
My ex motor( 422 W5) after i sold the car was upgraded and dyno'ed by Best Machine and made 708 horsepower. This is a full on 14 to 1 effort with light rings, gas ported slugs, big roller, etc, etc.
The car( 3200+ pounds currently), went 140+ with this motor in it.
So, IMO, those dyno figures were well backed up at the track.
I have yet to see a pump gas gen 3 run 140+ in a 3200 pound plus car. Once i do, i will become a believer, but until then, its just racing likely inflated dyno numbers..

well hopefully we will get to find out pretty soon how this engine stacks up to the hp it made on the Dyno. The mopar mag said this engine will be going in there 2010 Dodge Challenger drag car.
Also i agree i think 340 ricks car is awesome and that is my dream engine some day. by that i mean if i ever have any money to build a engine like that. Mopar65
