A 32/36 Weber carb is a progressive carb. One barrel is primary and the other is secondary, at least all the ones I have seen!
Put it on a dual-plane intake on a 318 and it'll run really funny!

A 600 Holley four barrel is better in all respects, and tunable.

That is something I had not thought about... It would run interesting

Checked out the Holley 2bbl offering, kinda 50/50 about it.

Ventured over to Edelbrock and am leaning towards the 500cfm AVS Thunder series w/electric choke and pickup a 4bbl intake to go with it. It is totally over the top for this application but gives me some reserve for down the road should I decide to turn up the wick. Is it going to be compatable with a torqueflite kickdown though without having to make a rig job ?
