You might try running a stiff sidewall tire. I ran Goodyears for years and they were great but when they went away they went away. I switched to M/T stiff sidewall a coupl eof years ago and have not looked back. The M/T is a larger tire, more rollout but dont go away near as quickly.

As for beadlocks they will stiffen the sidewall a bit. They will also ad weight to the car in the wrong area. It will likely slow a bit in 60' but may maintain the times for a longer period.

FWIW I change my tires every year, I run 15x33 M/T. My car destroys the side walls as well. When we ran goodyears we were lucky to get a good 40 passes from them. Car is almost 2900lbs and will go bottom 8's at 170 all out, however I run S/ST mostly anymore so 10.90 in the high 150's or 11.05 at mid 150's or 11.35 at 151.
