I don't have a WC-4 but my DR-4 does have the road race sliders and I run the H-pattern shifter. The road race sliders work just fine for drag racing. Jerico told me I wouldn't even be able to tell the difference between the race and road race sliders at the track. Powershifting from 2nd to 3rd with the H-pattern is no problem..I've never missed it. As long as the gear ratio's are ideal for the dragstrip I would say you'd be ok. If you have a pretty high horsepower vehicle there may be some strength issues though. I think the circle track Jericos have a different heat treatment on the gears and they may be a little harder=more brittle.
