Pretty good info here. I appreciate the feedback. Here is my deal. My car was originally a 67 GTX 440, 4-speed, Dana car. My current build for the car is a 6.1 HEMI with what will probably end up being a big single turbo and a TH400 with a brake. The goal on good gas is to see a quadruple digit dyno pull and an 8.99 time slip in a car that will see probably 75% street duty. Pretty much everyone in that power level with a turbo runs a built TH400. I'm honestly having kind of a hard time putting an automatic in it. I would need a super stout manual that could stay pinned inbetween shifts so the turbo stays spooled. A regular clutch shifted trans would never work. I would probably blow it to pieces, and if it lived, it would probably rob me near a second in ET. I think the Jerico would be kick a$$. I guess the only down fall would be street driving would be a pia...or so I've heard... That is a bit of a turn off for a car that will see so much street time. Opinions?
