I did some cutting on mine, if you don't want to ruin a perfect rotisserie paint job you may want to shy away. If you pm me your email address I think I still have some pictures I can send you. I do know one guy who used a Hurst shifter and made his own mounting bracket and didn't cut his car up too much.

I bought mine from a guy who didn't finish his project so it was new and I saved a few bucks. I think they were around $3600.00 with the shifter brand new to your door, but that price was from 3-4 years ago.
You can find them used with a shifter for around $2500.00 but watch the gear ratios, a lot of NASCAR trannies show up on ebay and racingjunk. Mine is a 309 first gear.
