Get and electric EFI fuel pump. Get a regulator to get it down to like 6 PSI for carb. If you still hate running a carb, then you've already purchased the EFI fuel pump for going EFI.

POWERjection III I hear isn't too bad, depending upon who you talk to.

But ya, I recommend going EFI anyways b/c of better cold start driving, driveability, better economy, may make your engine last longer if always running rich, etc.
