forgot, depending on how much diy you are interested in and budget, there is a thread going on efi a differnt way.
people have adapted the 5.0 mustang efi to mopars as well.

required a new distrbuter, or modifying the ford and mopar ones to work, plus you will need to put injector bungs in a bb intake.
could probably be done in the 500 range if you could do the work.

if you needed the distrbuter would probably be closer to 1k.

just for a frame of reference, the basic efi system for my car cost me 300 bucks.
I spent another 700 or so to make it work.
110 for fuel pump
150 for regulator
175 for efi line(hose)
50 for sending unit
15 for efi hose clamps
20 for filters

some kits come with most of this stuff, but just to give you an idea.
not cheap, but I drive my car way more now than I ever did with a carb.
when I had a carb, I probably put 500 miles a year.
so maybe 2 tanks of gas. I probably have 2 tanks in it already this year, and it was down for a month while I rebuilt the suspension.
