Well heres a few side notes on my combo... I put my 5500 A1 convertor in it, so with the wimpy cam it was out of steam making the convertor seem a bit slippery. If it had more cam I think it would've helped ets, but over rpming was a concern. I didn't want to turn more than 6400, even though I've read that the stock pistons are stronger than stock replacements. the compression was 8.2 thanks to the steel head gaskets, every bit helps right?
I really wanted to see an 11 at our track, but ran out of time to T&T. If I had the resources, I'd make a trip to Gimli Manitoba, They say its good for 2 to 3 tenths over SIR, but oh well It didn't happen. Might have to do some more testing in the future, I have no plans to get rid of it.
