topbrent super stock Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 793 Utah	Not the answer the OP is probably looking for, but at that level of power, 900 ft/lbs, ditch the 727 grenade and move to a PowerGlide or prepped Turbo 400. At 900 ft/lbs you should be able to accelerate just fine without the added gear reduction.
