Patrick built one for Me,ran 9.20s in a sb 408,they have metering blocks set up like a Dominator, ran it for 3 years before moving up to a 110mm SV1,ran great for Me,hard to cast judgement on a carb built for someone elses program.jetting probly required maybe. Jim...

I have one of Patrick's 1000HP's, First on my ~600HP 508 and now on my ~700HP 517, I'm VERY HAPPY with my choice. This carb will likely be seeing double duty on my new 414" small block, at least for the short term! 7:1 , Better clean off those plugs, buddy!!

i had one of patricks 1000hp's on my 408,ran real good with a best of 10.60@127. on the same day i switched to by Bigs 950 stage 5 plus and ran two back to back 10.55@128's, so my 408 liked the 950 better. same 60's (1.59) with either carb. this was on pump gas and 3350#.

Randy, Patrick does great carbs. i did back to back one of his 1000hp carbs against my BG 825 on my satellite.there was like only 0.0001 difference - essentially nothing. i also tried a ultra HP950 later, different meeting against the BG and lost 3/10 and 3MPH. this is on a 0.055 over 440. your result may vary Tex

You get a dyno sheet with every one of Patrick's carbs. There is also a number on the carb, so if you call tech they can help you get it right. And Patrick answers the phone alot of times. Chris..

So "Patrick does great carbs" but a smaller BG ran exactly the same as a bigger ProSystems?

Porkypig, i'll expand .a couple of mates run prosystems carbs and they run great. i borrowed my mates unused one,set up for 410ci sb,and it didn't help my motor.i contacted Patrick prior to using it and he suggested it may be a lttle too big.my take on this is the carb size on my motor is not a restriction. i tried the various carbs because when looking to step up my program, some carb shops suggested a 950hp type carb. the prosystems carb felt great and had good responce no mistake, just no improvement over the BG on my package in its current form. as people say - your results may vary
Tex

Tex, I agree, sometimes 'big enough' is just better and going bigger just kills more initial torque without enough motor to pay you back in HP...seen it a hundred times.
GENERALLY....On a heavier vehicle, I find a slightly undersized carb is better and more consistent than an oversized carb, it's also more responsive to tuning for conditions.

Ive NEVER seen a ProSystems come with a DYNO sheet, but they do come with a SPEC sheet and suggestions for jetting ranges.
WHATEVER..
You get a F!@#$@@ sheet.... Who cares what it's called..
Chris..
