Porkypig,
i'll expand .a couple of mates run prosystems carbs and they run great.
i borrowed my mates unused one,set up for 410ci sb,and it didn't help my motor.i contacted Patrick prior to using it and he suggested it may be a lttle too big.my take on this is the carb size on my motor is not a restriction.
i tried the various carbs because when looking to step up my program, some carb shops suggested a 950hp type carb.
the prosystems carb felt great and had good responce no mistake, just no improvement over the BG on my package in its current form.
as people say - your results may vary

Tex, I agree, sometimes 'big enough' is just better and going bigger just kills more initial torque without enough motor to pay you back in HP...seen it a hundred times.

GENERALLY....On a heavier vehicle, I find a slightly undersized carb is better and more consistent than an oversized carb, it's also more responsive to tuning for conditions.

You get a dyno sheet with every one of Patrick's carbs.

Ive NEVER seen a ProSystems come with a DYNO sheet, but they do come with a SPEC sheet and suggestions for jetting ranges.

WHATEVER..

You get a F!@#$@@ sheet.... Who cares what it's called..

Chris..

I ran an 8082 (2 circuit) dominator on mine for a while and it ran very well. Have you tried one of those yet? They are a lot less $$ and I bet you would like it. For what its worth I have a 950 from bigs and I am very happy with it, works great and Jesse is a good dude to deal with, I am sure Patrick is good also just never used one of his carbs.

After talking to a few people...I'm starting to think a 1000HP might be too much carb for my engine! More research in the near future! Thanks,Mates! Think I'll go have a Foster's .....and do some more carb pondering!

Randy, I would look into these carbs, I've heard he is one of the best in the business.

i disagree, foster's is a good beer. just don't drink too many. i once drank 8 of those and it took a month to get over that hangover. i'll never forget that one.
