Car is hitting 150mph now. will closing in the grill area and adding a chin spoiler like I've mocked up with foam to fiberglass, help with areodynimcs, or be a lot of work for nothing?. the chin spoiler look alright or not?, varied opinions here on the home front , Thanks,Jim

YAY! Pushing the air around and over the car has to be an advantage over going through the car.

I like the idea of closing off the big opening under the bumper for aerodynamics sake. If you do that, paint it black so it doesn't stand out so much(the filler piece, not the car). Instead of the chin spoiler, what about an airpan under the car from the valance back to the K-frame? I'm no expert, but I would think less frontal area would be better. Another thing to try is narrow the bumper so the ends are closer to the fenders.

For the OP Areo really help... those are 2 big buckets they call a grille... the whole idea is to get the air either up or around the sides... if you let it up and over use that air to your benefit either into the scoop or so it hits a rear wing for down force
