My motor is going back in this weekend and I choose to use an MSD Distributor and a MSD 6AL box. My question is will I still need to hook up the original ballast and orange Controller or were those only used by the original distributor? Thanks

gtx6970 Too Many Posts Joined: Jun 2003 Posts: 21,441 It's a dry heat	No, With the MSD box, the origial ecu and ballast is no longer used. I pulled the 2 connectors for the ballast ouf of the bulkhead conector, tied them as one and used it as my key on voltage for the MSD box.
