11.70's in the quarter if i had to take a stab at it
Thats about what i would say, I ran 6.9s/7.0s/10.90s/11.0s depending on the weather at 3100 race weight & 4.10 gears/28" slicks with a similar set-up, now it was a low-deck 451/stock 906s/XE284H/750dp/M1 single/9.73.1 comp./PTC 9.5" 4400 stall shifting at 5600.

Just bought some parts to go with a 440 in my Valiant and I'm just wondering what I can expect ET wise. The build is going to be pretty simple .060 over 440, stock 906 heads, probably a 509 cam or a mild solid, old Tm-7 or some other single plane and a 850 holley. I may end up going with a glide but what ever trans I go with will have a 9.5in converter and I'll be running a 3.55 gear(all I have besides a 5.38) and a 28" tire. The car weighs 3100 with me and fuel with the smallblock. I want to run atleast 7.50's in the 1/8th
Consider running an rpm intake or the Holley street dominator for a single plane.THe small solid may work better on the low end with the 3.55 gears. All that may be a moot point depending on your stall speed.

7.90 or so with that gear.
that will be real close, use the 5.38 and a 5000rpm stall and you will get close to a 7.50. 727 only

With a bone stock 440 and vert in that car it should run 12.50,s
With the 3.55 gear Id want around a 4000 stall vert and 10.0 comp. Id use either a RPM or SD single plane. With traction that could be good for 11.20,s or so.
My old 9.7 484 MP stock vert street combo @ 3320# ran 12.40,s @ 113 MPH with street tires. With slicks it ran 11.75.
Add in your 9.5 vert and less weight, even with the 3.55 gear you should do better then that, IMO
For reference, 7.65/1/8 = 12.00 --7.50/1/8 = 11.75

His post claimed 3100 with the small block,i would add at least 150 for the pig block.
I saw that and tried to adjust my guestimates for it.
I also saw your numbers What kind of combo do you have going on?

I'd be happy if I could get 7.80's out of it with the 3.55's. I plan on going to a 4.10 or 4.56 after I get the engine in the car and everything worked out....I don't want to spend all my money before then lol
You should get the 7.80 with the 3.55, maybe even a little better.

The build is almost identical to mine. I have a .030 906 headed 440 with the .557 solid cam and the Holley SD intake with an 850. My 63 weighs 3700 with me and I use a Dynamic 9.5 converter and 4.30's with 30" tall tires. 11.49 best and 7.28 best in the 1/8. I say you should hit 11.70's which is about 7.50's in the 1/8. Good luck , Ron
