I see Mancini is selling some custom tubular bottom arms, they say they save 8lbs, has anyone used them them?
they are made by Cap automotive, which one's are you looking at, the one's that retain the torsion bar or the coilover conversion one's?

I bought the coilover conversion lower's but I have not run the car since I installed them,,they do look beefy and fully adjustable,I don't personally know anyone that runs the torsion bar lowers.

not necessarily... every pound counts & its cheaper & more reliable to take weight out than it is to add power.
I can't fault the logic , but there is also a cost / benefit analysis that should take place. Saving two pounds in meaningless unless you save a whole lot of two pounds's. ( I know......I know........pounds's ain't a word. But it sounds right and rolls off the tongue. ) If weight is the concern , then I'd be looking at getting the torsion bars out of the way and gaining additional clearance while I was at it. Unless you are shaving every gram , look at the cost and look at the price. In dollars and in strength ( gain or loss )

according to my scale they were the same weight
that right there is pretty much the answer we were lookin for, as for the rest of it, well its my car & I guess I can take as long as I like to build it the way I like
I thought the question was a viable one & now we all know exactly the weight & cost saving available
