GwaiiEagle Mannix Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 964 Nanaimo, B.C.	My advice is not to bother. Keep the upper column intact and use the lower column fom the donor car. If it makes you feel better replace the plastic shear pins in the middle where the two overlap.

I'm sure that there are a bunch, maybe even mine and yours that the pins were broke during restores, etc. The column isn't going anywhere (up and down), and unless it can be "pulled" out of the coupler some how.
