Boosted OP master Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 2,648 GA	My friend is needing this bracket for a 440.. The one in the picture is for a 383 so it is cut into and will be modified to make it work on a 440. I checked the photos and there might be a small difference in shape where it meets the compressor, but where it meets the engine block it's the same. I dont know which way you would lengthen the arm,(long side or short side) but I do know that changing the thermostat is a real challenge with the proper bracket.
