Ive seen this happen at a tractor pull.
The announcer called it "an unscheduled high speed engine dis-assembly "

i have a feeeling your lucky the block went forward adn not rearward... because i am not sure the roll bar could have withstood that impact...lol.. the motor almost hit the cieling... its gotta be a 400lb part...flung 30ft in the air...? no? cheapst

Anybody wonder why there wasn't adaquate motorplate & midplate on that rig?
As mentioned, the driver is lucky it took flight in the direction it did.
There's a reason for safety rules.
