7/16 - 20 bolts get 65 ft lbs correct? Also I've seen the lock tite post hundreds of times but don't remember the general consensus.... So I'll ask it again Lock tite or not to lock tite on the flex plate to converter bolts

Personally, we run a glide but I loctite the bolts with red, not going to hurt, but may save a flexplate, if the bolts back out. John

Blue Loctite on my flex plate to crank bolts. Just a lock washer on my converter to flex plate bolts. The last couple years the trans has been coming out about every 10-15 passes so it needs to be easy. I've never used Loctite on the converter bolts.

Does the blue work better than the red? The blue is weaker, but does it "give" enough to work better in this particular application?

red is supposed to be permanent, blue is removable. both will keep them from backing out 1 is harder to take out

2 acers worth of thick grass. I just like to make sure it looks nice. Sharp blades and a walker ztr mower gets the baseball field look.
