sounds like you need to do some excavating/regrading. Is it the tubes or the flanges that hit? The guy that did my exhaust hacked the flanges and used those big band claps right into the exhaust. It really cleans things up under there.

That's an understatement. And it seems to be the flanges. I can avoid it, especially with the taller tires, just have to be careful.

We used to call those Milodon pans the Temple of Doom pans because of their shape and because you were doomed. Oil filled skidplate sums it up best, all right.

If you have a ToD pan and you are not kitting it on anything, it only means you are one of those guys who is driving around with 1972 era ride heights. And perhaps a straight axle, too.

Few cars really need a 7Qt pan anyway.

I would call this 72 "ride height"

Has anyone thought about making an extended Skid plate to protect these oil pans? I have one on my 68 Charger and it seems a skid plate that sticks down more than the stock one would work. Has anyone tried this?

Take care,

My steering linkage hit that pan when I was using it. Smashed 2 of the milodon pans before I went back to stock Hemi style. Installation is like any other pan. Drop the linkage and you'll have plenty of room. Enjoy!

It doesn't? It can be seen at the angle you snapped that pic you put up

What do you consider low, something an ant can limbo under?

That Milodno pan wil be fine unless your trying to roadrace your Roadrunner through a rock quarry like some of the other members.
