What I'd want to know is if the A&A trans includes parts and / or modifications that reflect that extra $300.
I have some A&A parts in my 727 and they're top quality. But I've wondered in the past whether you pay a significant premium for that A&A name vs. dealing with someone else.

this isnt going to be a racing transmission, just a street performance.with shift kit.ive got a built small block tranny with mvb and i hate driving it on the street.its great at full throttle but just putting around the clashing and banging of the gears ive had enough.time for a tranny that will still bark the tires in 2nd but still shift smooth at light throttle.
theres a lot of guys that rebuild MOPAR transmissions whether its racing or for street use...John Cope (CRT), built my race trans..
he stands behind what he builds and the products he sells...A$A are suppliers or should I say manufacturers (correct me if Im wrong) and build transmissions as well...CRT uses a lot of those parts plus he has a few that are manufactured for him...
for me, as I have done business with CRT, thats whom I would go to and save yourself that $300..
tell you a little story: when I first met John, he showed me what was wrong with my 727 in about 5 minutes...he tore down my trans that quick and explained what each part does and what parts he will use to build me a better trans...
He's a good honest man and knows his transmissions...
