I guess I could always put my motor in a mustang
I might know someone with a 1987 mustang coupe set up for a bbm that could be bought as a roller
Geez Matt,
Do you ever hang on to a car
And no, I don't need another one
LOL Bill !!! I dont really have it for sale but every time I walk in the garage and see the blue 69 runner just sitting there doing nothing I keep thinking " man would that be fun with the 106mm turbo dangling off of it!!" lol

My '71 Charger 500, A/C car, is still a street car, no roll bar/cage, full interior with extra carpet underlayment and sound proofing material on the roof and doors, #4,150 with driver and 10 gallons of fuel. 451 cid 400 stroker (last time I raced it) with aluminum heads, intake, water pump housing, stock 3-core radiator, P/S, P/B, A/C compressor and condenser removed, 727, 8-3/4", full TTI 3" exhaust and the large case super turbo mufflers, modified stock leaf springs (full extra leaf, clamped), 0.960" "handling T-bars", front and rear sway bars, alot of under coating under the car. Ran very consistent 12.50/110mph at Bandimere. being a street car with street tires, foot brakeing, leave at about 1,200-1,500 rpm and hope the tires maintain traction. I think about 1.7 60' times? I don't have a time slip here to reference. Only time I had it at lower altitude was Mopars at the strip in Las Vegas a few years ago. Took it off the trailer and ran mid 11.8's @ 115 mph with no changes to the car.

67 Satellite, 3770 with my 170 lbs on board. So the car comes in right at 3600.
My car is pretty much stock. Only weight savings would be alum. heads, manifold, and radiator. But it has frame connectors, and I run steel wheels.

'68 Hemi 4speed RR, no options, no cage, all original steel, full interior, Dana, street car, no undercoat, no lightening, 3700lbs. Only non-original weight-saving item is the headers, partially offset by tach & gauges & MSD box. Full exhaust, steelies. As you go back to earlier generations ('66-'67, '62-'65) they get lighter. Fair amount of weight difference in trim levels. I would think a '62 Savoy for instance would be closest to stock '67-'70 A body weight.
