My GTX is 3430 with me in it. 8 point bar. All original steel except the fiberglass hood. Stock bumpers. Still has full interior, and windows. 499 low deck factory block, INDY heads.

My RoadRunner should come in around 3100 with me in it, but that will have glass fenders, bumpers, and lightened everywhere I can without it looking gutted. Also will have a 12 point cage.

My 74 is a complete A/C car, everything is still in place. The only thing I have done to take weight out of the car is fiberglass seats and hood. It has a 8 pint bar and a iron headed big block. It weighed 4020 with a 190 pound driver in the seat. It is heavier now with the addition of a dana 60 and cal tracs. It went 11.20's at 120mph with the 446 inch motor.

It's all in how you work the car over. I've spent hours scraping every last bit of undercoating off the car. My heater and wipers are out of the car, no sound deadner under the carpet, No radio, No E brake, Wilwood front discs, Aluminum master cylinder, all my wiring has been cut back to the bare minimum.

I weigh EVERYTHING I take off the car, and put back on. On my RoadRunner, there isn't going to be one thing on the car that isn't either replaced with something lighter then stock, or the stock part modified to make it lighter.

These 3600+ weights are not what I want to hear. Debating what I want to do with my motor if my chassis sells as a roller. Thoughts of making it pump gas friendly and still hitting it with a healthy shot to run 8.50 index might not happen in a 3500+ lb B body.
