ok thanks exactly how I had it hours ago and gave up trying. it's bad relay out of the box . I was making my self crazy testing and checking all the wires and connections. that was a waste as I just rewired that car, man I hate when that happens thanks

D Battery C Solenoid on Starter B NSS A Ignition Key Switch
(A) Feed from Ignition switch - lost in bulkhead fire. (B) Ground from Neutral switch - urban myth; never installed successfully. (C)Starter Solenoid Feed - energizes starter when jumped to "D" (D) Battery Feed - where "C" is jumped to with rusty screwdriver, spare keys, or pliers.
That's why I use these instead..

So do I. Maybe Ford does have a better idea.

and it's still a bad relay
Hey Fred did you get it working? I just went through this on my Barracuda. EASIEST way is to have shifter in N and check to see if you have ground or continuity on the wire from the terminal marked G. IF not the NSS is bad or the wire is opened! Or put a wire from Gnd term. on relay to ground and see if it starts.(MAKE SURE YOU ARE IN P OR N) Don

Them Ford relays are for Fords.LOL
As far as I know I am still using the original 1965 Mopar starter relay on my Barracuda. But, it's a street car with stock firewall and wiring harness.
OK YOU GOT ME I confess the wiring harness has been hacked on quite a bit and is not original but the relay is.
