There is no way to say this politly so here goes . Unless your aim is really good ( meaning lucky ) Tossing parts at it isn't going to fix anything. You already have a code, perform diagnostics on said code and see where it takes you. There is a trans relay but it's location varies with year , and I dont have the manual in front of me to say for sure where it's at ps . I just ck'd P0700 is not a valid code .This is from dealer connect - mopars tech assistance website Quote:

0700 is a PCM/ECM code indicating there is a TCM DTC present, it is meaningless for diagnostics in this case. Good luck throwing parts at it ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbs.gif) Rick

Actually for my year the code generally means an EATX problem but it's been replaced. I borrowed all the scan tools and threw parts at it. I'll throw a couple of hundred and hope for luck after that I figured time to do it correct with no success.

You need a service manual and a scan tool that will read trans codes, thats the ONLY way to do it right. the last 2 i fixed this week were wiring problems,no parts, just wiring repairs, hope this helps.
I have em both. I am cutting open the harness this afternoon. My ammeter just died so I have to go get another on ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif)

As said before p0700 "ETAX DTC present" is a PCM code that is triggered when there is a fault detected by the TCM. p0700 only turns the mil light on, it is not for diagnostics. You need a scan tool that can communicate with the TCM to see what the detailed faults are then diag those. For a "delayed engagement" after a long soak (hours) I would guess Torque converter drain back and/or weak pump. (have done many) If this happens after just a few minuets of off time I would think it is an electrical problem or a sticking valve in the valve body. Good Luck, Gary. ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/coool.gif)
