72greencuda OP enthusiast Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 327 Florida	I have a deep Milodon oil pan on the 340 in the 72 Cuda, so deep and to low.. I had a low speed scrape the other night and now I have a drip. Anybody have a suggestion after I remove the oil plug? I think maybe in the future I will replace pan with a pan thats not as dangerous. Plug was a little loose after hit,but still leaking after I tightened. Thanks guys.. Wish I was in Carlisle

Anyways, wrap the threads of the bolt with a little teflon tape and then thread it into the hole. This should seal the leak + keep the bolt snug. Pay attention to which way the tape is wrapped since if you do it backwards the tape will want to bunch up going in.
