dexron/mercon 5 in mine.

I've seen the fluid issue debated many times. Many testimonials for mercon derivatives, and type F fluids.

Personally, I think that over all these years of torqueflight use, by many different party's, one thing has been proven.... That A 727 doesn't care what fluid you use AS LONG as it was built right

727 6 clutches, billet steel drum, dex3 as per trans builders suggestion. sometimes doing the rounds the trans gets hot but you'd never guess with smelling my fluid. i did try type F but trans man said no so dex 3 it is.

Type F since 1973 when we ran a Art Carr trans,Marv ripes at A-1 trans says type F in 727, Dave Smitth at Pro Trans says type F with no trans brake. Mopar engineers in the old drag racing seminars said type F also

Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)
