I'm ready to install my Air Gap intake to the Eddy heads. The instructions say to use the Gascacinch sealant on the gaskets. I have some, but the instructions on the can differ from the intake install instructions. Has anyone used this stuff? Do I just use on the head and the head side of the gasket? Is anything required on the intake side? I'm using Felpro gasket 1213.

I'd use it on both sides of the gasket. Probably a lot like the "Indian Head" shellac/sealer.

I don't think you want it on the synthetic rubber bead.

Quote:

Many Fel-Pro Performance Intake manifold gaskets utilize a synthetic rubber bead where applicable for superior sealing around intake and coolant ports.

sparingly on both sides and I'd toss the end (front/rear) supplied gaskets and use a wide/thick swath of clear silicone instead on CLEANED block/intake surfaces.
