Anyone running this size drag radial on a stock wheel well, stock width 68-70 B-body? If so, what size wheel and backspacing? How much did you offset the leafs? Thanks

Looking to put 'em on my 70 Charger. I will have the car 2-3'' lower than stock so I don't know if that will be an issue. I found a good deal on a set of 15x10 wheels with 5.5'' backspacing and I'm thinking those might work ... I'm hoping somebody chimes in that's done it.

I ran them on my 69 Charger in the past,,,,this was on a 8" rim though,,,( probably should be on a 10" ? )

No issues as far as clearance,,,

I went to a bigger tire,,,295/65/15 and like it alot more,,,really fills the wheel well up,,,no rub issues,,,

I used to run a 295/65/15 on an 8'' wheel, but I want to go back to a 28'' tire. Thanks, I might have to give Brian a call.

Any pics of your Charger with the 325's on her? What was the backspacing on the 8'' wheel? I think it should be on a 10'' tho.

325/50/15 on a 10 " rim is about 5.5" of BS ( should be about 3.5-4" on a 8" rim)

i like the look of a 28" tire on a charger.the 30" looks to big.

Any side pics? How much room do you have between the tire and quarter/wheelhouse? I want mine to sit a couple inches lower than stock.

Between the quarter and the tire I have a bout 3/4", between the inside of the tire and the wheelwell I had to bend the flange in so it wouldn't rub I have probably 1/2" space there

Sweet, I think I can make it work. Thanks for the pics!

On my super bee i have 15 X 10's and 5.5 backspacing mag 500's. I rub on hard corners or going up/down a big hill and slight turn. Dunno how you got around that on the roadrunner. My car has 295/50's (i believe) radial t/a's.

web page

Just have stock springs on it. Have some ss springs in the shed but have yet to get a chance to put them on.

Most guys have to raise to fit a tire like that. If you want to go lower than stock, I think you are going to run into problems.
