Fred, Heres a pic with the new scoop on the car. Again you really need measurements but this gives you an idea how big we had to go to make it work. Based on your pics/heighth Im guessing its pretty close to what we have shown here...roughly. Doug

The string from the roof line to the front of the hood holds true, now put the bottom of the inlet of the scoop at or above the string... try to use a ideal/ stackon the carb for a better entry into the carb, that will give you a idea on how tall it should be. My carb is about 1.3" below the bottom of the inlet
