x 100 Elec pumps need constant cool fuel thru them. I've heard of some folks T'ing the return into the pump inlet, and this works to some extent. But you'll always be sending hot fuel thru the pump that way (especially at idle when bypass fule volume is highest) and the situation will be worse the higher your pump capacity is. IMHO, teh folks that T back into pump inlet might be fine for driving around town, but I wonder how many of them go on a road trip and kill their pump?
Parts I seek:
driver doorpanel, 65 Sport Fury, prefer black, needs to be 7-8 on 10 scale, might buy set
16" x 6" Dodge truck wheel(s), from early 70s?, takes 9" dogdish - need for a research job so cheaper is better.
69-73 C-body caliper brackets and/or splashields

what about a pump like this? the fuel flows through the bottom base plate, and not through or around the electric motor to cool it down, how much cooling will you get by running a return system on a pump like this? I've had mine set-up dead head style for 2 years now, 4,000 street miles, to include a road trip from Columbus to Pittsburgh--3.5 hours 1 way.

99 corvette fuel filter has a third line wich is used as a return line for unneeded fuel to return back to the tank. It is a fairly easy change over, depending on your fittings.
