If so, how did it go and how happy are you with the gear drive? tia

I used one years ago. It was very quite with only a hint of noise. Liked the ability of holding the timing very stable due to no chain slop. The only thing I didn't like was the way the idler gear was fastened. The bolts eventually came loose but it never fell off or did any damage. Only found it after tear down and inspection. I would still use one today but would pay closer attention to loctiting the fasteners into place.

1986 T-Type with 272 Stage 2 Buick V6 engine - True 8 second street car. Just updated the engine and put down 928 HP @ 35# boost to the ground on chasis dyno.
