Should not be a problem, I drilled one in mine when I did my last tranny for my car, as I put the brake back in it, but have never used it, and it seems fine. Would not hesitate to use a drilled drum in a rebuild. Dave

My thought would be as long as its in a manual VB with full line pressure. A VB set up with the throttle linkage and variable line pressure may have issues.
