VernMotor OP master Joined: Nov 2003 Posts: 7,348 Mt.Vernon ,Ohio	If you got a hole in the front drum.I know it there for using a trans brake. To bleed off pressure. and I know front clutchs are on in reverse and high gear. If I do not use a trans brake valve body.will there be any problems ?

turbocolt2.4L enthusiast T Joined: May 2006 Posts: 296 CT	youll be good it shoulnt mater if you run a small bleed hole with a manual vb the bleed hole is there to aid in the brake release.

65racer 2009 IHRA World Champion 6 Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 1,235 TN	Should not be a problem, I drilled one in mine when I did my last tranny for my car, as I put the brake back in it, but have never used it, and it seems fine. Would not hesitate to use a drilled drum in a rebuild. Dave

A VB set up with the throttle linkage and variable line pressure may have issues. 1970 Challenger w/572 Hemi street car and my pride and joy. 1986 T-Type with 272 Stage 2 Buick V6 engine - True 8 second street car. Just updated the engine and put down 928 HP @ 35# boost to the ground on chasis dyno. 1976 Cee Bee Avenger Jet Boat - 460 Ford powered.

JohnRR I Win Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 74,970 U.S.S.A.	If the trans is apart and it's not needed you could seal the hole , tapped for a small set screw installed with RED loctite would do the trick .
