Magnafuel if those are my only choices. Why not look at Product Engineering as well, good pumps good people and they were the fore runners of the Magnafuels.

I actually have a BG fuel pump still. I have not had any issues with it but if I ever did I woudl replace it with a PE.

BG400-2 Titanium here....no leaks....no problems....the original BG400 sat for four years and didn't leak when I installed the new bullet but it was corroded beyond repair internally due to the previous owner not draining the alky

Product Engineering makes excellent stuff. Mine is quiet and was the only pump that can be mounted above the fuel tank and not have a warranty disclaimer in the instructions if you do so. Great customer service too.

Funny I have read about all the horror stories everyone claims with BG....but I have had nothing but great service from BG & their tech/service people...

A buddy just put a brand new aeromotive pump on his car and it was seized up right out of the box..luckily he found another brand to use as a spare.
The one that was bad out of the box was a 2000 from Aeromotive

2 of the 4 times I felt like the guy thought I was dumb... kept trying to make it my fuel systems fault, even though it was up too their standards... the other times it just took them forever, and the repairs cost be within $20 of what a new pump would have cost...

My 280 started resonating and would spit fuel instead of flow, but in a narrow window - - right where my car needed going down the track. BG repaired it, then replaced it then gave up and then sent me a 400. All at no charge. Cost me a lot of money as I needed to replace all of the lines - - all braided.
One thing I have to say is that BG service was great.......

Interesting comments. My BG 400 is 20 years old. I pull the carb lines to check the volume every now and then and 1 gal in 14 secs...never heard of a BG400 failure...so it will fail on the first pass next time and then buy.
