After fouling problems with NGKs some one suggested I try these: Champion RC12LYC (412) No more fouling problems. May be a little hot, but no more fouling.Weird looking plug, real long nose. Work perfectly. Been using the same plugs for a couple of years.

I have champions in my lawn mower, leaf blower and weed wacker. I also have them in my car. they work great in all of them. I have had the same plugs in the lawn equipment for 8 years.
what problems have you had that we should know about?

I don't recall, I put them in the heads when I put them on 2 years ago, 3-4 thousand miles later and 300 or so passes, they're still in the car.

I used to run Champions in my 340 back in the '80s and they had so much resistance the spark would arc out of the plug boot and to the head. Spent a long time swapping in new plugs, new wires, new everything. As soon as I stopped using Champions and went to Autolites problem went away. I will NEVER use Champion junk again.

I use NGK R5671A-8, stock #4554. For NGK plugs the higher the number at the end, the colder the plug (-7 is hotter than -10). For a street car, I would try a -7 or -8…I have had issues with fouling -8’s when my car was a little rich, but they worked well on the bottle. I used -7's for everyday driving.

I asked the same question a few weeks ago, here is a link to that discussion, I went with AR3911. For one they are what I run in my BB car and Ryan J recommended them to others: https://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/show...rue#Post5171990
