10yrs ago I put a complete 2.5" system in my Challenger, 340, w/Dr Diff relocation kit, no issues. Just swapped in a 5.7, bought the TTI shortie headers and head pipes, and it bolted up perfectly to the existing system. TTI is 1 of the few vendors that you get your monies worth, quality product.
I will say, I didn't spend the $400 they wanted for tips, got some for 1/2 that.

Total 2 1/2" TTI system including headers on my small block 73 Challenger 4 speed. Had to rework the reverse shift rod as it hit the crossover. Apparently later Challenger 4 speeds have a diiferent reverse rod than earlier models. ts been on the car since 2004. Though I've recoated the headers for cosmetic purposes, the system is in great shape. Everything else bolted up perfectly. Doug

1 tip, make sure you read every note for the type of car, engine size, heads, transmission, X or H pipe and pipe size for the car you are putting it in...Like other have said, easy install if you get the correct system.

I've done two B-bodies, one 2-1/2" and one 3". Install was about as painless as it could be.
The 3" pipes get kinda cozy with the gas tank, but that's geometry.

My only negative experience is with A body tailpipes , they aren't bent to use the stock hanger locations.
running up my post count some more .

My '73 Challenger has a full tti x-system from 2" RB headers thru 3" exhaust to their stainless-steel tips. I re-installed it a couple of months ago as part of putting my car back together and it was relatively straight forward (again).

Anyone ever buy a complete system, not just headers ?
How did it fit up ?
I have an E-body with the leaf springs moved in with the offset hangers, I was looking at the 2 1/2 inch system. I highly recommend the 3.0 or maybe even a 3.5 inch complete system over a 2.0, 2 1/4 or 2.5 inch system Been there, done that, larger is better when it comes to exhaust system with mufflers

Cab - TTI doesn't offer bigger than 3.0", unfortunately I recently emailed them to see if they had the ability to make a 3.5" system(to the muffler) and they said they couldn't
