SRT Charger/challenger oil change ramps ? Home made or store bought ? Store bought where ? And how high are they? I found a plastic set .. but they are just 2 1/2 inches high ! … worthless! If homemade .. specs and pics please !

If you wanted to use Jack stands behind the front wheels as extra security for the event that a ramp failed, you could position the ramps behind the front wheels and then back up onto them. Then the ramp does not block the pinch welds behind the front wheels allowing you to place a Jack stand on the driver and passenger sides.

Maybe it's me, but I wouldn't trust ramps with my life. Are you trying to avoid using a jack? Wood stands under the wheels like these would be best. Keeps the tires from rolling and you don't have to contend with jack stands under the car when changing the oil.

I have some Rhino ramps 8.5in tall I use for my 2020 T/A 392 Challenger, they work great with a rough surface floor, on smooth floor I drilled holes in the floor & some angle iron & slid the bolts into the slab in front of the ramps to keep them from sliding, the angle iron is not permanent just pull the long bolts out.

I have a pair of these ramps (same as the ones in brad's post it looks like) and they work on my '11 charger RT (although I usually just lift it by the front crossmember. have to use the ramps on my daughter's Cherokee, there is no place really to use a floor jack on it.

I bought a set from Harbour Freight and they worked with my 2020 Scat WB.

Are those wide enough, or do the tires hang off side?
Any way you could measure? Looking for something I can back onto with 275 rear tires.

Rhino ramps states:

12,000 pound GVW (gross vehicle weight) capacity and for use with tires 9" in width (doesn't seem wide enough, even for front tires?)

Thx

Can you jack that in 1 iteration?
Seems like with the suspension drop when the tires come off the ground, you'd need a pretty high lift?
Did something similar, but had to position and adjust jack stands multiple times, to get it high enough.
Kind of a hassle for an oil change, took me 45min just for that multiple step process, and getting it down was time consuming doing it in steps.

I ended up buying the HF ramps, they had them on Black Friday sale for $45.
They are ok, but my 06 Mustang still comes close to hitting.
I put a foot long 2" x 6"' to drive up before the ramp and that did the trick.

Much easier than my old method of having to drive on the 2x6 just to get the floor jack under, and then jack and place the jack stands.
