if you're looking for new jets and rods they aren't available. chyrsler had a unique primary jet and 3 step metering rod. you can use edelbrock jets and rods but you'll need the edelbrock step-up piston cover.

Thank You,
I know the Edelbrock route but I plan to go with the three step rods and the tall jets.

I bought a few last year. There isn’t a particular source. Just have to watch and wait. The carb guy in Missouri has an attitude and went on a diatribe about mopars being dirty running cars. Has a machine he says is the original carter one and will cut you a new set. For 220 bucks that is. I declined.

'67 is an abbreviation of 1967
67' is an abbreviation of 67 feet
They are not interchangeable.

The jet number is 489, carter number is 120-489, 489 is stamped on the jet,
0.089 bore, this is the tall jet USED ONLY WITH THE THREE STEP METERING ROD.
I hope you have these jets, If you have the metering rods it will be a plus. Thanks!!

I stripped 4 other carbs, either the jets were missing, drilled oversize, or wrong...I have two identical carbs,
one is done, the other is missing the correct jets. These carbs will be on a cross ram intake for my max wedge 440cid engine

I think I might have them. I'll have to check out in the shop.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

I have the jets. What size rods are you looking for?

Just checked with my right hand man, I don't need the rods I have new old stock rods.
How do we proceed from here. I do want the jets. My wife has PayPal or I can send
you a check or money order. What are you asking for the jets?

thermo-quads are [kind of] like the AVS carbs, in that if a guy needs jets and rods, you need to search them out.
i always recommend looking for crusty carbs at the swaps, where guys are just cleaning out their stashes, and you might possibly get lucky and find the carbs and or parts, you need.
will not always happen, but you never know.
just my experience in life. your mileage will vary.
beer
