So I can fit the Big Block in with headers! Did the F-body aspens and volares have manual steering boxes?? Or would a box from an A-body fit????? TIA TBF

A,B & E manual boxes all have the same mounting design as your Cordoba, a B/E body pitman arm will interchange with your stock pitman arm & you'll need the adapter to connect your steering shaft to the manual box...

The adapter is shown in this link..

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-MOPAR...4QQcmdZViewItem

But the price they are asking is crazy, that part use to sell for $45.00 but when I searched there were three vendors selling it & they are all

Better but still...

You can reuse your pitman arm if you use a '73-up A/B/E box since the sector shaft was increased to the same size as a power steering sector shaft in '73. Prior to '73, manual boxes has a smaller sector shaft.

Thanks guys...I need to get rid of the stupid, huge rag joint as well so I will weld in some kind of coupler and bypass that ripoff power/manual adapter deal..... I also bought the solid aluminum body bushings from cudazappa and they are awesome!! I also plan on running an electric water pump in the big block sothats another reason the power steering has to go.... TBF

check to see if flaming river has something to eliminate the rag joint , they do have a direct coupler for the manual box.

F bodies did come with manual steering I am parting out a 76 Volare with manual steering. I doubt you would be interested in the steering column because it is a column shifted 3speed manual.

I might be interested in the box and the lower part up to the rag joint..... I'll send you an email. I was not sure if the f-body's used manual steering or not. I had an old 80 aspen with a slant 6 and it was power..... TBF
