RHD '68 Barracuda Fastback 323ci street/strip. Best ET 13.88 @ 99.03

Same here, had to make it easier to take on and off. Also on mine, the centre ridge and engine offset really bugs my symmetry OCD

The self expanding urethane foam is likely the first/easiest choice. But be warned, over filling can wreak havoc, and/or distort the outer surface. Allowing a few vent holes, can reduce that problem, but the the vent holes if left in place, weaken the item you are trying to reinforce.

I do have a zig saw and a roto zip. The hole will be rectangular. Some good info here I will have to digest. Fine blade to prevent chips I assume? 9apps cartoonhd
